Fulbright Scholar Saeed Khanum of Pakistan to visit Bluefield State College and area high schools virtually
Fulbright Scholar from Pakistan Dr. Saeeda Khanum who is currently engaged in research at Harvard University will deliver virtual presentations about Diversity and Inclusion in Pakistan, Abnormal Psychology in the context of Pakistan, and Improving Children’s Math Performance through Evidence Based Training as part of BSC Office of International Initiatives’ Windows on the World Series.
On Monday, November 2 at 9:00-9:50 a.m., Dr. Saeeda Khanum will discuss “Diversity and Inclusion in Pakistan” with students of Education Professor Dr. Amanda Banks.
In the afternoon, from 2:00-2:50pm, Dr. Khanum will discuss “Abnormal Psychology in the context of Pakistan” with students of Psychology Instructor Tara Mullins.
On November 3, 9:30-10:45am, Dr. Khanum will discuss “Improving Children’s Math Performance through Evidence Based Training” with students of Mathematics professors Vincent Mateescu and Dr. Dharshana Arachchi.

Currently Fulbright Research Scholar at Harvard University, Dr. Saeeda Khanum’s research is focused on Improving Children’s Math Performance through Evidence Based Training. She has presented research scholarship at conferences held at Oxford University and in Tennessee and has been published in scholarly journals in Pakistan, India, the USA, and the UK
