The Role of Marketing & Media Relations


We provide creative leadership and support to the University in strategiccommunications, web services, media relations, publications, advertising, special events, graphic design,videography, and photography. We perform the following tasks on a daily basis:

  • Direct the University’s vision of branding and marketing.
  • Oversee the distribution of information to the media.
  • Manage the content and design of B-State’s website.
  • Manage the Big Blue News & Events and all social media channels.
  • Publish the Blue & Gold Magazine, Marketing Report(s).
  • Review and approve advertising, digital content, and publications distributed to an externalaudience.
  • Provide videography, photography, and creative design services.
  • Design and develop recruitment materials.
