All Bluefield State students, faculty, and staff are able to ride the Bluefield Area Transit city bus systems without having to pay a fare. The bus system serves BSU with campus service every five (5) minutes after the hour on weekdays between 7:05 a.m. and 5:05 p.m.
There is no Campus Shuttle service on weekends or University holidays. Additional transportation will be provided to numerous athletic and student events throughout each semester.

There are currently two (2) drop-off and pick-up locations on campus. Bus Stop Shelter #1 is located in the parking lot area adjacent to Dickason Hall. Bus Stop Shelter #2 is located on the campus loop between Shott & Mahood Halls. Consult the campus map for details. Students can request other campus drop-off locations with the transit staff as needed.
