Bluefield State has a limited amount of residence hall space available for undergraduate students during the summer. To qualify for on-campus summer housing, a student must be enrolled in Summer Session. If you are admitted and confirmed as a summer session student and have an active Bluefield State email address, you are considered eligible to apply for housing. Interested students are strongly encouraged to complete a summer housing application as soon as possible, as available space is limited. A summer meal plan is included & required and all summer housing students will be assigned to the campus Cottages.

Canceling Summer Housing

If your plans change and you need to cancel your summer application and or assignment, please email your request to housing@bluefieldstate.edu, and indicate “Summer Housing Application Cancelation” in the subject heading. Fees or penalties may apply for students who cancel their summer session housing.
