Bluefield State & McGee Foundation Education Scholarship
Bluefield State University is pleased to announce a new five-year scholarship program for early/middle education majors, thanks to the generous support of the John and Ruth McGee Foundation.
These scholarships are specifically for high-need students from West Virginia and the following counties in Virginia: Bland, Giles, Tazewell, and Wythe, who are committed to pursuing careers as public school teachers. Applicants must demonstrate financial need after all other federal and state aid has been applied. Scholarship funds can be used to cover tuition, Praxis exam fees, and other related expenses for completing an early/middle education degree and obtaining teacher licensure.
Preference will be given to applicants who plan to teach in West Virginia or the specified Virginia counties after graduation. For application requirements, deadlines, and further details, please visit bluefieldstate.edu/mcgee.
