BSC Chapter/Kappa Delta Pi Teacher Education Society Inducts New Members
The Bluefield State College chapter of Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) Teacher Education Honor Society inducted 8 new members during a recent virtual ceremony. Each year, BSC’s School of Education faculty nominate outstanding teacher candidates based on their demonstrated commitment to scholarship, leadership, and stewardship. The BSC KDP chapter inductees this year include: Tiffani Cline, Megan Coleman, Brittany Crigger, Robert Delorso, Amanda Downard, Roman Moore, Autumn Repass, and Courtney Wills.
“Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) is an international honor society in Education based on the ideals of Fidelity to Humanity, Science, and Service,” noted Dr. Amanda Banks, KDP advisor. “Student members of Bluefield State College’s KDP chapter have earned at least 30 hours of college credit and 12 hours of Education coursework, and have cumulative GPAs of 3.0 or higher.”
