BSC Faculty Member Julie Orr Delivers Featured Presentation at WVSOM Program
Bluefield State College Associate of Science in Nursing faculty member Julie Orr delivered a power-point presentation and group communication exercise at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine on January 10.
Her presentation, “Nurse-Physician Relationships: Are We Still Playing the Game?” was part of the WVSOM PaLMS organization (Professionalism and Leadership in the Medical Setting) on interprofessional communication. Prof. Orr is a 1987 graduate of the BSC Associate Degree Nursing program and a 1990 graduate of the BSC Bachelor of Science Nursing program. She is in her 30th year of teaching at BSC and recently completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Marshall University.
