Dr. Dotty Heady Donates Beautiful Quilt to BSC
Artist Dr. Dotty Heady recently donated to Bluefield State College President Robin Capehart a beautiful quilt,celebrating the 125th anniversary of BSC’s founding in 1895. Dr. Heady’s quilt was given to the College in honor of her friend Dr. Robert Francis Hayes.
BSC Counselor Tamara Hill (left) and Dr. Sarita Rhonemus, Director/Multi-Locations and RBA Program, are pictured as they display the quilt. “This quilt represents the rich and diverse culture and history of Bluefield State College,” Hill said. “The accompanying plaque demonstrates support for Dr. Capehart and hope for a thriving, diverse future for BSC.”
