BSC RadTech faculty attend JRCERT Conference

Bluefield State College Radiologic Technology faculty attended the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology’s (JRCERT) 50th anniversary education conference, November 4-5 in Chicago, IL.  JRCERT is the accreditor for the BSC Radiologic Technology Program. 

Conference lectures were presented by nationally known Imaging professionals. Topics included assessment, admissions review, working with clinical agencies, ethical responsibility of the educators preparing critical thinking graduates, and professionalism. “This conference was a great experience for the faculty,” observed Melissa Haye, EdS, MSRT (R), Program Director BSC faculty attending the conference included Angela Lambert, EdD, MSRT (R), Dean of the School of Nursing and Allied Health; Melissa Haye, EdS, MSRT (R), Program Director; Amy Bennett, MSRT (R)(MR)(M); and Vanessa Godfrey, BSRT (R), didactic instructor.
