Warrior Met Coal Company Presents Career and Summer Internship Information for BSC Engineering Technology Students
Jason McCown, Director of Human Resources at Warrior Met Coal Company, discussed Warrior Met’s summer internship and career opportunities with students from Bluefield State College’s engineering technology programs.
Bluefield State College engineering technology alumnus Jack Richardson is the Chief Operating Officer at Alabama-based Warrior Met.
“The employment market for our Engineering Technology graduates is very, very good right now,” noted Dr. Kerry Stauffer, BSC Engineering Technology faculty member. “The opportunities for our students in coal and other industries is outstanding. Additionally, the degree programs offered through the School of Engineering Technology and Computer Science equip our graduates for careers in a variety of industrial settings.”
Today’s Warrior Met Coal visit and presentation to BSC was coordinated by Rebekah Hatch, Coordinator of the College’s Transition and First-Year Program.
