Online New Student Orientation is an optional program for students not attending the Bluefield State main campus. Students need to complete the following steps and procedures to register for classes:
- Receive admission to Bluefield State from the Office of Admissions. Once admitted, students will receive (usually within 24 hours of admission) a Student Identification Number and official email address.
- Email the Dean of Students Office to gain approval for completing the Online Orientation program at deanofstudents@bluefieldstate.edu.
- Once you receive approval via email, watch the Online Program here.
- Once you have completed viewing the Program, take the Online Program Quiz. Make sure you submit after answering all questions.
- Students will be notified via email if they pass the Online Program Quiz and will then receive an email with additional directions to register for classes. If a student fails the Online Program Quiz, you will be notified to retake the Quiz.
