Topic A: Reflect on a time when you learned something new or unexpected from an educational or work-related experience. What did you learn? How did that discovery affect you, your values, or your behavior? How has this newfound knowledge changed you? (500 – 1,000 words)
Topic B: We expect our students to integrate their learning with meaningful extracurricular experiences. Pick a beyond-the-classroom activity where you have taken initiative, or made a significant change, and tell us more about your involvement. Share what you have learned from your experience. How do you envision building upon this experience to contribute to the Bluefield State College community? (500 – 1,000 words)
