List ALL the people in your parent(s)’ household include:

  1. Yourself and your parent(s) (including a stepparent) even if you don’t live with your parent(s).
  2. Your parent(s)’ other children, even if they don’t live with your parent(s) if the children will be required to provide parental information on the 2023-2024 FAFSA and
  3. Other legal court appointed dependents ONLY if they now live with your parent(s) and your parent(s) provide more than half of their support and will continue to provide more than half of their support through June 30, 2024. (must provide documentation)

Must list the name, age and relationship of all household members below. Also, indicate in the College Column which family member will attend college at least half, between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024, and will be enrolled in a degree, diploma, or certificate program. (do not list parents in college). If you need additional space, click the add button or plus sign.

C. Student’s Tax Forms and Income Information

INSTRUCTIONS: The best way to verify student and parent(s) 2021 income is by using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool that is part of FAFSA on the Web. If the student or parent has not already used the tool, go to FAFSA.gov, log in to the student’s FAFSA record, select “Make FAFSA Corrections,” and navigate to the Financial Information section of the form. From there, follow the instructions to determine if you are eligible to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to transfer 2021 IRS Income Tax information into the student’s FAFSA.
