The purpose of the Faculty Assembly shall be to foster the collegiality necessary to promote the common good of Bluefield State University and to effectively and efficiently provide all faculty members the opportunity to participate in the shared governance of the University, including accurate communications between faculty members and the Board of Governors, a meaningful opportunity for all faculty members to offer opinions and state positions on issues and concerns, and for all faculty members the opportunity to offer solutions to problems that affect the academic organization and operation of the University.
