Imaging Science


The Bachelor of Science in Imaging Science concentration(s) in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Mammography from BSU requires the following: Completion of an Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, or Sonography.  The student must hold and present a current certification in the modality.  The student must be admitted to the Chattanooga State Community College Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Mammography and meet all admission requirements OR have completed the MRI, or Mammography certification examination successfully and present proof.;  Upon completion of the ChSCC MRI, or Mammography course and successful completion of the certification examination the student will receive twenty-one block credit hours of 300/400 restricted elective credit at BSU.
