Electrical Engineering Technology, B.S.


The Electrical Engineering Technology program prepares students for successful careers by covering the design and operational characteristics of electrical circuits, machinery, and electronic equipment. Students will gain essential skills through coursework in electrical drafting, computers, and power systems operation and control, qualifying them for technician-level positions in various industries, including electric utilities, equipment manufacturing, and mining. Bachelor’s-level studies pave the way for jobs in electrical engineering design, as well as pursuing advanced degrees. The associate and baccalaureate degree programs in Electrical Engineering Technology are accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.
