plethora of options to choose from during your time on the hill!
The Office of Student Activities focuses on three key areas:
Leadership Certificate Series
Bluefield State is pleased to offer undergraduate leadership certification, aimed to support the
individual leadership development of the college community. Students can begin working to complete the
program requirements at any time, and will receive a certificate for successful completion.
Student Activities is dedicated to offering high quality workshops throughout the year for students to
further develop their leadership skills as individuals and as members of student organizations. Also,
staff is happy to consult with students to develop customized experiences. We look forward to helping
you realize your leadership potential!
Annual Big Blue Leadership Conference
Each Spring Semester, Student Activities partners with multiple departments across campus to offer
students the opportunity to participate in our fantastic Big Blue Leadership Conference. Students select
from a variety of options to develop their leadership skills. Students who attend the annual conference
get credit that goes towards the Big Blue Leadership Certification, a certificate of completion, and
public recognition at important campus events.
