Where to Find Someone

• Social Media – You may consider using the Student Activities Facebook page as an avenue to advertise for potential roommates.
• Networking – Network through friends, classmates, clubs, and/or memberships.
• Advertise Around Campus – Public bulletin boards in the Student Union, academic buildings, and residence hall locations.

Things to Consider

• How many people are allowed to live in your rental property?
• How many people do you want to live with you?
• Where do you prefer to study?
• How do you like to spend free time?
• What are you willing to pay for rent/utilities?
• How long are you planning to live with this roommate?
• Are you willing to put your name down on the lease and/or utilities?
• How much do you (really) care about cleanliness?
• What are you willing to share?
• What do you expect from your roommate?

• Would you describe yourself as organized or organized chaos?
• What type of relationship are you looking for from a roommate?
• What are your expectations of a roommate?
• Are you a night owl or an early riser?
• Do you have a car?

• How do you feel about overnight guests?
• How reliable is your stream of income to pay for rent/utilities?
