Beckley options:

Hospice of Southern West Virginia

Their opportunities for serving would include Patient Companionship Visits and Office Support. Patient companionship is where the volunteer would sit with a patient while the primary caregiver would be able to leave to run an errand or just take a much-needed break.  This could be an hour or two at a time.  Office support would be helping with daily office duties or areas such as helping with mailings, making telephone calls, and maybe filing. They are also always open to suggestions that students would have for areas of service.
