Associate of Science Radiologic Technology

Once accepted into the program all Radiologic Technology (RADT) coursework must be completed within a three (3) year period. Registered technologists who have graduated from certificate programs may obtain an associate of science degree by completing 27 semester hours of general education courses as required by the curriculum. The College grants 38 semester hours of block credit based upon post-certification.

The continuing accreditation status of the program was considered at the February 2022 meeting of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology.  The program was evaluated according to the Standards for an Accredited Education Program in Radiography (2021).  The JRCERT found all program documents in compliance with relevant Standards; therefore, the JRCERT awards:

MAINTENANCE OF ACCREDITATION FOR A PERIOD OF EIGHT YEARS.

The maximum duration that may be awarded by the JRCERT in this category is eight years.
