Description

100% Online B.S.N.

Overview

The BSN Program is a nationally certified RN to BSN program created specifically for working registered nurses. A "2 + 2" nursing curriculum allows AS nursing graduates to get their BSN in three or four semesters.

All nursing courses are available online, and some require clinical experience that may be done in the student's home county or state. Boot Camps are necessary days of instruction with professors supplied through "Live Streaming." Students have three alternatives for attending compulsory classes: attending a live class on the Bluefield campus, attending a live session remotely from their home computer, or watching an archived class video within one week of its scheduled date. Support courses are available at Bluefield State College and other schools and institutions. A total of 120 credit hours is required to complete the BSN degree.

The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Bluefield State College is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington, D.C. 20001 (202) 887-6791.
