Carolyn Kirby serves as the Director of the Academic Success Center, overseeing all tutoring services and academic support services on campus that promote retention and graduation. Additionally, Carolyn serves as the ADA coordinator, advocating for students with disabilities and providing classroom and other accommodations for students where needed.

Scott Pitt has been with BSU for 18 years. As an Educational Outreach Counselor, he is passionate about fostering communities and support networks for participants in the ASC, helping them build lifelong connections and access valuable resources. He also leads and participates in various committees both on and off campus to promote collaboration and strengthen connections across people from all walks of life. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Concord University.
