WV State Board of Professional Engineers Presents Workshop at BSC

Members of the West Virginia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers (WVPE) spoke to Bluefield State College engineering technology students and faculty during a recent presentation at the College.  The program included an examination of a high profile professional ethics case and its ramifications.

WVPE Board members also talked to students regarding the basics of professional licensure, and they fielded questions from BSC students following the presentation.  Nearly 30 students attended the program.

Dr. Kerry Stauffer, BSC Civil Engineering Technology program chair, collaborated with WVPE to bring the program to Bluefield State’s campus.  The program was sponsored by the BSC student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
