State Senator Chandler Swope Speaks at BSC
West Virginia Senator Chandler Swope, founder and past president of Swope Construction Company, discussed “Writing Professional Articles” during a presentation to BSC students and faculty.
Swope, chairman of the Senate Workforce Committee and vice chair of three Senate committees, told his audience, “Business writing is legal writing–you must choose words that will define what expectations are. These words must say, without dispute, what needs to be said. Business writing is one of the most critically important elements of any business.”
