Fifth grade students from Kimball Elementary learned about academic programs, visited the Robertson Library, and enjoyed lunch in the Harris-Jefferson Student Center during a recent field trip to Bluefield State College.

Kimball Elementary Fifth-Grade Students Make Field Trip to Bluefield State College

 

 

Nearly 30 Kimball Elementary School students visited Bluefield State College this week, during a morning-long program that gave the fifth graders a taste of college life. 

“Our fifth-grade guests learned about academic programs in our Schools of Nursing and Allied Health; Education, Humanities, and Social Sciences; STEM, and; Business,” noted Dr. Terene Stiltner, Director/Teacher Education.  “They also met BSC football coach Tony Coaxum while visiting the Ned Shott Gym, stopped at the William B. Robertson Library, and enjoyed lunch in the Harris-Jefferson Student Center Cafeteria.
