The First Big Blue Open House as Bluefield State University

Prospective Bluefield State University students and their families can participate in a history-making event!  On Saturday, February 4, the Big Blue Open House at B-State will provide students and their families the opportunity to learn more about the University, its academic programs, and student life.  This event will be the institution’s first open house as Bluefield State University.  Registration begins at 8:30 am, with the program starting at 9 am in the Harris-Jefferson Student Center on campus.

Attendees will meet B-State deans, faculty members, and directors, then learn more about academic programs they are considering.  They will also get to experience B-State student life, learn about student activities, clubs and organizations, and student support services that promote and support their academic pursuits.

Each prospective student and guest is invited to a complementary lunch at the Student Center and attend Saturday afternoon’s exciting men’s basketball game in the Ned Shott Gymnasium as the high-scoring Big Blue meet the University of Lynchburg.
