Emerging Leaders Institute’s Annual Food Drive Benefits Bluefield Union Mission

For the fifth consecutive year, the Emerging Leaders Institute student organization at Bluefield State College conducted a highly productive food drive. This year’s drive resulted in the collection of more than 800 nonperishable food items that were delivered to the Bluefield Union Mission on April 22.

The ELI initiative is one of several community service endeavors conducted by the organization. Trigg in delivering the food.

The Emerging Leaders Institute expressed special thanks to BSC faculty, staff and students, Beta Lambda Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Mr. Otis Mack, owner of Hair That’s Hype Beauty Salon for their support.
