With community and campus support, the Emerging Leaders Institute recently delivered more than 470 nonperishable food items to the Bluefield Union Mission. ELI’s annual food drive was conducted in partnership with Beta Lambda Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. ELI Director and AKA member Linda P. Trigg expressed special thanks for the support of Mr. Otis Mack, owner of “Hair That's Hype” for donations, to Ms. Andrea Oakes for her assistance in the drive, and to everyone who helped make the food drive so successful.
