BSC Students Showcase Their Biomedical Research during WV Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol

Bluefield State College students Gezelle Brown and Raenel Crenshaw were among a select group of West Virginia college and university students to present their research posters during the annual West Virginias Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol.  The annual program at the State Capitol showcased to state legislators examples of the research and creative activities involving undergraduate students at college campuses across the state.

Both BSC students are West Virginia Health Sciences & Technology Academy Fellows, and Gezelle Brown is a McNair Scholar of Concord University.  Last November, they participated in the annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students in Indianapolis, IN.  The IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence of West Virginia has funded their research projects.
