BSC President Speaks at Beckley Rotary Club
Bluefield State College Interim President Robin Capehart was the featured speaker at the May 14 meeting of the Beckley Rotary Club.
“Colleges need to embrace entrepreneurship principles and develop the flexibility to identify and address emerging opportunities,” he told the Rotary audience at the Historic Black Knight Country Club.
BSC is implementing changes to become more responsive to the needs of the region, he said. “Last Saturday (at the College’s graduation exercises), 90-95% of our graduating students already had jobs.”
On May 28, President Capehart will speak at the Lewisburg Rotary Club.
