BSC Cole of School Students and Dean Visit Seton Hall University and NYC

Phillip Imel, the Dean of the W. Paul Cole, Jr. at Bluefield State College, and BSC students Matt Jackson and Alexander Brugos visited Seton Hall University recently, following an invitation from SHU Dean, Dr. Joyce Strawser.  “Our students participated in workshops that covered timely topics like Corporate Finance & the Digital Evolution, Authentic Intelligence, #AM for #Fin Tech, and the Digital Transformation of Financial Services,” noted Dean Imel.  “The presenters were industry leaders in their field.  This experience has strengthened the relationship between our institutions, and our students will benefit as we work to ensure future linkages with Seton Hall University.”

It is hoped that this will be a yearly event with a reciprocal agreement with Seton Hall to send a delegation of their students to BSC, according to Dean Imel.

During their visit to the Seton Hall campus, the Bluefield State contingent attended the 14th annual Jim and Judy O’Brien Capital Markets Colloquium, and they took in a Seton Hall basketball game.  They visited New York City, including a trip to Wall Street.
