Bluestone Health Association and BSC Partner to Offer COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics

Responding to the increasing number of positive COVID cases in this region, Bluestone Health Association, Inc. and Bluefield State College are partnering to offer Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations at BSC on July 29 and August 6.  Three weeks following the first vaccine (August 20 and 27, respectively) a second vaccination session will be conducted for individuals who received their first COVID shot on July 29 and August 6.

The vaccinations will be administered at Bluefield State College’s new residence hall, the former Bluefield Regional Medical Center, at 500 Cherry Street from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on both dates and are available free-of-charge to the public.

“The partnership with Bluestone Health Association has substantially benefited Bluefield State College’s students and employees,” noted Dr. Ted Lewis, BSC Provost.  “We are excited to partner once more with Bluestone Health to offer these COVID-19 vaccination clinics.”
