Bluefield State College Chapter of Gamma Beta Phi Announces Scholarship Winners

The Gamma Beta Phi Society awards student members, in good standing, with national scholarships each academic year. It was announced recently that three Bluefield State College students were awarded three different scholarships. The first winner was Alyssa Hunt, who was awarded the W.R. Russ and Margaret McCauley scholarship in the amount of $1,500 based on community service, leadership, academic excellence, and strength of character.

The second winner was Lindsey Castle, who was awarded the Gamma Beta Phi Leadership scholarship in the amount of $750 based on leadership development and roles of leadership within their local chapter or the National Executive Committee.

Finally, Sabrina Workman was awarded the Gamma Beta Phi Character scholarship in the amount of $750 based on character, academic performance, and financial need.
