Program Overview
The School of Criminal Justice prepares students
for a wide variety of careers such as private investigator, police officer, court reporter, correctional
officer, probation or parole officer, or professional at the local, state, and federal level. We offer a
choice of concentrations in Corrections, Cyber Security, Forensic Investigation, Law Enforcement, or
Probation and Corrections Treatment. The following prospective students may qualify for up to 14 credit
hours:

The Beta Sigma Chi Chapter members work to create an international network
between
Bluefield State
students
and other Criminal Justice students and professionals. The Association fosters professionalism in law
enforcement personnel and agencies, and promotes professional, academic, and public awareness of
criminal
justice issues.
