Registration Information: 2012

Early Registration
(For Currently Enrolled Students Only - Begins Monday, October 24, 2012)

 Degree-seeking Students Enrolled Spring 2011 Semester: See your adviser in his/her office to complete a Registration Form. Many advisers can also input schedules in Banner database in their offices. If not, take Registration Form to one of the following Registration Locations or to the Registrar’s Office (Conley Hall, 1st Floor) once completed and signed by adviser.

Continuing Degree-Seeking Students: See your faculty advisor in his/her office during the designated times (see above). Any student who is not certain of his/her faculty advisor should contact the schools dean or Enrollment Services in Conley Hall, Room 303.

New, Transfer, or Former Students: Report to the Admissions Office, Conley Hall, Room 102.

On-Line Registration Instructions

 

PLEASE NOTE: PRIOR TO USING THE WEB FOR COURSE SELECTION, EACH CURRENTLY ENROLLED BSC STUDENT WITH LESS THAN 96 CREDITS, WILL NEED TO SEE THEIR FACULTY/ACADEMIC ADVISOR TO OBTAIN A REGISTRATION PIN NUMBER AND DEVELOP A TENTATIVE FALL ACADEMIC SCHEDULE.

  1. Choose Enter Secure Area
  2. You will be asked to enter a User ID and Pin- For User ID, enter your Social Security Number with no spaces or dashes. For Pin, enter your birth date in MMDDYY order with no spaces, slashes, or dashes. If your month or day of birth is less than 10, precede the number with a 0. For example, 010176 is January 1, 1976.
  3. Next, you will be asked to re-enter your old pin, which is your birth date and then enter a new pin, which must be six numbers (no more, no less). Be sure to remember your pin because you will always need it to log on.
  4. Finally, you will be asked to create a security question and answer. This will be used in case you forget your pin. If you answer this correctly, your pin will be reset back to your birth date and you will begin all over again.
  5. Once you have established your user ID and Pin, choose Student Services and Financial Aid and then select Registration.
  6. When entering courses, enter ONLY the CRN number in the space provided, all other information will automatically be entered.
  7. If you have any questions concerning the development of your schedule, please contact your Academic Advisor or the Counseling Center. Please note: students currently being advised through the BSC Advising Center as well as students who have not declared a major, must see their advisor to register.
