Goals

The mentoring component of the Center is designed to accomplish the following objectives:

• Recruit and train at least one junior research faculty in the Biomedical Sciences.
• Enhance the research potential of at least five junior faculty members.
• To encourage at least three in-coming freshmen to pursue degrees in health-related sciences.
• To disseminate research findings concerning African-American health issues.
