AutoCAD Lab
The AutoCAD lab houses 18 personal computers with the latest AutoCAD drafting sofrware products including AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, Inventor, Carlson Surveying Software, Revit, and Sketchup 3-D Modeling. Lab also has large-format printing capabilities. Although available to those interested, this lab is most commonly used by students enrolled in Engineering Technology/Computer Science programs at BSC.
AutoCAD Lab hours are generally Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm or scheduled as needed.
CIM/CAM Lab
The CIM/CAM lab houses 7 personal computers with many workspaces for student projects. This lab is only available to students enrolled in the corresponding engineering class(es).
CISCO Lab
The Bluefield State College Cisco Networking Academy Program classroom/lab houses approximately 16 personal computers, 37 CISCO routers (of different series), 35 network switches (of different manufacturers and models), and much more. All equipment has the latest software and innovative testing and teaching variations. The CISCO lab is available to students enrolled in the Cisco Networking Academy Program at BSC for use in class research, projects and testing.
Microprocessors Lab
The microprocessors lab houses approximately 13 personal computers with many workspaces for student projects. This lab is only available to students enrolled in ELET 305 class and/or its corresponding lab.
PLC Lab
The PLC lab houses approximately 13 personal computers with many workspaces for student projects. This lab is only available to students enrolled in ELET 316 class and/or its corresponding lab.
Computer Science Senior Lab
The Senior lab for Computer Science houses approximately 15 personal computers of different capabilities with many workspaces for student projects. This lab is used primarily for lab and research support for upper level computer science courses.
Student Support Services
The lab iin Student Support Services houses approximately 20 personal computers. This lab is available to any student receiving services from Student Support Services (i.e. special tutoring, etc.)
SSS Lab hours are as follows:
Monday through Thursday - 8am - 8pm
Friday - 8am - 4pm
