We provide training before access to online courses, in addition to resources and personal attention one-on-one, by email or phone to maintain the instructor's course throughout the semester. By working together we help the instructor deliver media, content, such as audio or video, conducting internet events, lectures and even automated materials for classroom use. Orientation for online instructions for Blackboard provides an overview of the basic tools in blackboard, help instructors access, distribute and produce content remotely.
All faculty teaching online should have an online course orientation that includes an online demo, online course, and Blackboard presentation. Faculty will be able to access the orientation, work through the material and implement what they have learned in a practice course. The time to complete the orientation varies with level of experience. Learning this is an opportunity for all faculty to improve their online courses by adding new online features after increasing their understanding of the technology tools.
