Foreign Scholars' Lecture Series
BSC invites Fulbright Scholars at US host institutions to lecture to the campus family and collaborating area higher education institutions and area schools through the Fulbright Occasional Lecture Program, which is administered by the Council on International Exchange of Scholars.

Fulbright Language Teaching Assistants
BSC has been hosting Fulbright Language Teaching Assistants to teach critical world Languages such as Arabic, Kiswahili, and Wolof.

Fulbright Scholars in Residence
In 2011-2012, BSC will host its second Fulbright Scholar in Residence, Dr. Tabeh Freeman, Dean of the Medical College at the University of Liberia in Monrovia, Liberia. Dr. Freeman will teach Nursing and Health Sciences students courses in tropical diseases and their treatment, emergency healthcare preparedness, and public health administration. An institutional partnership between Bluefield State College and the University of Liberia will result from Dr. Freeman's visit. This will also sustain student study abroad and faculty exchanges.
