|The Bluefield State College chapter of Kappa Delta Pi Teacher Education Honor Society welcomed 12 new members during a recent initiation ceremony at the College. (Bluefield)—The Bluefield State College chapter of Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) Teacher Education Honor Society inducted 12 new members during a recent ceremony in the Hebert Gallery, Harris-Jefferson Student Center at the College.
“Kappa Delta Pi is the national teacher education honor society, recognizing teacher education students who exhibit excellent school and college leadership and community service skills, while also holding 3.0 or better grade point average,” noted Dr. Darrell Thompson, BSC KDP advisor and Coordinator/Field Experiences, BSC School of Education.
The initiation ceremony welcomed new members Tammy L. Boswell, Jennifer Brewster-Wood, Candace M. Flanagan, Amanda K. Harman, Kevin A. Lynch, Alexandria A. Pennington, Kayla B. Pennington, Katie Perdue-Lester, Chassie M. McCoy, Cassie N. Smith, Jessica A. Turner, and Helen Warner.
