(Bluefield)—Bluefield State College's Black History Month celebration spotlights a "Lunch & Learn" series that focuses upon African American authors. The community is encouraged to join the College in celebrating the impact African American authors and literature have made upon the nation and world.
The BSC Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and the Wendell G. Hardway Library are sponsoring the series, which will take place on consecutive Thursdays—February 13, 20, and 27) beginning at noon in the Hardway Library. "Under the title 'Through Others We Become Ourselves,' this is an exciting, thought-provoking series," Dr. Sims observed. "This is a 'brown bag' Lunch & Learn format, and we hope to learn and share ideas in an informal setting."
