"Nighthawk" to Perform at BSC on February 1, 2009

Nighthawk,” an ensemble of the United States Air Force Band of Flight, will present a concert at Bluefield State College on February 11. The program begins at 7 p.m. in BSC’s Basic Science Auditorium. Nighthawk is an eight-member ensemble comprised of a rhythm section (guitar/keyboard, bass, and drums), a horn section (trumpet, tenor and alto saxophones), and two female vocalists. The program will feature a variety of musical styles from jazz and blues to Motown, and is open to the public free of charge as a featured event in the College’s celebration of Black History Month.
