(Bluefield)—The Tami Tango Trio, an internationally acclaimed Argentine music and dance ensemble, will perform at Bluefield State College on September 19, beginning at noon in the Hebert Gallery, Harris-Jefferson Student Center. The performance is a featured event in BSC’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The Bluefield State College Office of Multicultural Affairs is sponsoring the event, which is open to the public, free of charge. Dr. Sapphire Cureg, Multicultural Affairs Office Director, noted, “”Eduardo Tami, the group’s founder, is one of Latin America’s most renowned flutists. The performance will be an energizing combination of tangos, milongas, valses, and Candombes. The ensemble spotlights the trio of flute, guitar, and piano, accompanied by a talented dance duo.
