(Bluefield)—The Credit Bureau of the Virginias recently presented an $8,000 check to Bluefield State College to provide scholarship assistance for BSC students.

Jimmy Welch, Executive Director/Credit Bureau of the Virginias Foundation, and Danny Coulthard of the Credit Bureau of the Virginias Foundation’s Board of Directors, delivered the check to Dr. Albert Walker, BSC President, and Karen Harvey, BSC’s Director of Institutional Advancement & Planning.

“We are extremely grateful for the continuing support of the Credit Bureau of the Virginias Foundation,” Dr. Walker noted.  “It creates higher education opportunities for many deserving students.”
