First Community Bank Donates $500 to BSC as a Matching Gift to the Neighborhood Investment Program Scholarship (w/photo)

Vicki Mays (center) recently presented a check of $500 from First Community Bank--as a matching gift to her contribution to the Neighborhood Investment Program Scholarship--to Dr. Albert Walker (right), President of Bluefield State College, and Karen Harvey, Executive Director of the BSC Foundation. The NIP Scholarship benefits West Virginians from low-income families, and donors receive state tax credits from the West Virginia Development Office equal to half the amount of their gifts.
