Dr. Sudhakar Jamkhandi to Deliver Keynote Address at the India Center's Gandhi Day Observance

(Bluefield)— Dr. Sudhakar Jamkhandi, Director of the Office of International Initiatives & Professor of English at Bluefield State College, will be the keynote speaker at the India Center's observance of "Gandhi Day" on Saturday, October 22, beginning at 6 p.m.
The program includes Bhajans (Indian devotional songs), prayers by different religions, and essays on Gandhi's life in South Africa and his influence upon world leaders. A vegetarian dinner will be served at the conclusion of the program.
Dr. Jamkhandi is also a Fulbright Specialist for Internationalizing Institutional Capacity, 2011-2016. His presentation is entitled, "Gandhi Rocks."
